Damn It! I'm almost done with this audio book, only 4 more discs to go, out of 28! It's due back to the library tomorrow, and i can't get through all the rest tonight. It looks like I'll just burn the rest to my I-tunes and copy them on a disc. That'll only take about two hours to do.

It's sort of hilarious that you can't check these out for the amount of time it would take to listen to them.

It's like all you can eat but the food is rice and there are no forks and there's a huge timer on the wall.

I have all of them on my i-applesaucepod-thingy. I've been through them, and I really enjoy listening to them again. Since my last laptop died and I had to to get a new one, the files are only on this device, so I might have to nurse it along just to keep them alive until... I don't know, these folks see the error of their ways?

When I first checked the audio book out of the library, I toyed with the idea of burning the discs so I could have them & enjoy the book at my leisure. I spend a lot of time in my car, 6 - 8 hours, three days a week, so audio books are becoming something of an addiction for me. However, this book is sooooo long, burning all those discs would take all day. I'm encoding them in MP3 format, so I hope to be able to get the last four CD's on one disc.

That's what I am doing. However, it takes a long time per disc. If I'd have had the time, I'd do the whole book, but I think that would take hours to do.

Oh good grief. That's a ton of CDs. Might want to start reading them on old fashioned paper haha.
